IFR Foundation Repair Honors Perma-Pier Warranties for DFW Veterans

When Perma-Pier Foundation Repair closed its doors in May 2026, veterans across DFW were left with worthless warranties. IFR — a veteran-owned business — is stepping up to honor those warranties at no charge.

"When a company closes its doors and leaves you hanging, we want you to know that IFR is here — and we're not going anywhere."

On May 4, 2026, Perma-Pier Foundation Repair of Texas closed its doors permanently. Employees showed up to locked doors. Phones went unanswered. Customers who had paid deposits were left stranded. And veterans who had trusted Perma-Pier with their homes suddenly had lifetime warranties that no one was left to honor.

IFR Foundation Repair is a veteran-owned business serving DFW since 2000. When we saw what happened to our fellow veterans, we knew we had to step up. That's why we're launching the Veteran Warranty Pickup Program — honoring Perma-Pier's lifetime warranty at no charge to any veteran who had foundation repair performed by the now-closed company.

🎖️

The Veteran Warranty Pickup Program

IFR will honor Perma-Pier's lifetime warranty at no charge to any veteran who had foundation repair performed by Perma-Pier.

✅ What's Covered — No Charge

If Perma-Pier's piers themselves have failed, IFR will correct the issue at no charge. We'll conduct a free inspection to assess the condition of the previous repair and fix any pier failures. Our crew uses repair methods recognized by ASCE Texas Section guidelines.

💙 What's Not Covered — But Discounted

If additional issues are found unrelated to the original Perma-Pier work — such as new movement from plumbing leaks, drainage problems, or ongoing clay soil expansion — veterans receive a discounted repair estimate. The ASCE Texas Section guidelines note that plumbing leaks and poor drainage can cause new foundation movement independent of prior repairs.

📞 How to Claim

Veterans, call 817-561-6500 to schedule your free warranty inspection. Please mention you're a veteran with prior Perma-Pier work.

Proof of veteran status (DD-214, VA card, or veteran designation on your driver's license) and any Perma-Pier documentation (contract, receipt, or photos of their piers) will help us serve you faster — but don't worry if you don't have everything. We'll work with you.

Why We're Doing This

IFR Foundation Repair was founded in 2000 by JW Marshall, a veteran who served his country and then came home to serve his community. For over 25 years, we've built our reputation on honest assessments, quality workmanship, and standing behind every job with a lifetime transferable warranty.

When Perma-Pier closed, we saw veterans in our community who had done everything right — they served their country, they bought a home, they hired a reputable company to fix their foundation, and they trusted that company's warranty. Through no fault of their own, that trust was broken.

This is our way of saying thank you to the veterans who served our country. When a company closes its doors and leaves you hanging, we want you to know that IFR is here. We've been serving DFW since 2000, and we plan to be here for decades to come.
